Dr. Alex L. Shigo authored and co-authored over 300 scientific and technology transfer publications. Dr. James R. McGraw, NC State University Emeritus professor of Forestry and ISA Certified Arborist, SO-184A, donated his collection of Dr. Shigo’s publications and reprints for reutilization by the ISA Southern Chapter.
This collection from Dr. McGraw’s arboriculture library comprises many of Dr. Shigo’s publications and articles. Included are 3 Shigo-signed US Forest Service research reports which Dr. McGraw considered significant in Dr. Shigo’s career of dissecting and touching trees. None of Dr. Shigo’s hardback tomes published via Shigo and Tree Associates are present.
